Why is it important to manage personal energy?

We work 10, 12, 14 hours a day, we feel exhausted, guilty and dissatisfied, we don’t get enough sleep, we don’t eat properly, we don’t have time to exercise… Most of us respond to the increasing work demands by working longer hours. This takes its toll on us physically, emotionally and mentally, reduces our alertness at work, increases our absent-mindedness and we feel that the harder we try to to keep up, the less we succeed. We are ever closer to breaking point, until we finally reach it.

We are constantly trying to work extra hours. The problem with working overtime is that TIME IS A LIMITED RESOURCE and that we are trying to increase what is finite. A day is 24 hours long and whatever we do it will stay that way.

We have a feeling that time is controlling us and that we are losing the battle with it, day in day out. We feel that we are losing control over our lives.

The main reason we feel this way is because of our lack of skills and knowledge of an unlimited resource that we all have access to: OUR PERSONAL ENERGY.

HUMAN ENERGY IS AN UNLIMITED RESOURCE THAT WE NEED TO LEARN TO MANAGE PROPERLY. BY MANAGING ENERGY WE MANAGE TIME, BY MANAGING TIME WE MANAGE OUR LIVES.
